What if I said to you that “you are enough”? Right here & now in this present moment. Yes, I am talking to you! This is a statement that I have battled with at specific points in my life. Trauma, negative experiences & day to day functioning have, at times, brought this statement into question for me.
Creating guilt, shame &overwhelm. Society often dictates that we should keep up appearances, swallow our feelings/emotions &show how strong, resilient & successful we are. However, this is not always realistic, sustainable or appropriate. Forcing ourselves to achieve this requires us to disconnect from our authentic selves & the essence of who we truly are. Vulnerability is a distressing & isolating place to be.
All too often, denial & resistance can be found there, and our innocence is overlooked. Thoughts turn into feelings; repetitive feelings turn into emotions that, when unexpressed or unresolved, can damage our overall well-being & existence. Unfortunately, there is still a stigma surrounding our emotional & mental well-being that can prevent & restrict us from seeking the help we need.
Although education & awareness have improved slightly over the years, we still have work to do. Ensuring access is available promptly & adequate support put into place enables us to maintain good mental health and overall general well-being moving forward in our lives.
Holistic one-to-one support sessions have become an increasingly popular approach to addressing our unique emotional and physical needs. By working alongside you, we will develop a tailor-made programme to meet your needs via face-to-face, video, or audio link. In addition to our sessions, I offer a 48-hour text or email support after each one-on-one meeting. This ensures you have continued access to guidance, clarification, or any questions you may have as you progress. By combining my personal and professional experience & training, I have developed the skillset to offer a unique & effective service.
My diverse training has allowed me to study many different medical and holistic models of care regarding mental health & well-being. During my 17-year career, I never found that one modality fits all, as every person I have had the honour to work alongside came with their own set of unique circumstances & would respond to a varied range of support.
We are entering a time, now more than ever, where our healthcare requirements are evolving and changing with us. Supporting myself & others to work towards the best version of themselves has always been my passion.
